Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack

Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack is an American artist whose transdisciplinary practice interrogates the intersection of personal identity, historical legacies, and societal structures. Operating between Los Angeles, New York, and various international locations, Gaitor-Lomack’s work engages deeply with concepts of existence, memory, and collective experience. His approach is marked by an intentional rejection of conventional artistic trajectories, positioning him as both a visionary and a critical agent within the discourse of contemporary art. Gaitor-Lomack’s most recent solo exhibition “YOU CAN HATE ME NOW”, closed February 14th, 2026 at Night Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. His work has been featured in group shows at Night Gallery, James Cohan Gallery, Jeffrey Deitch, Public Gallery (London), P•P•O•W, HVW8, Welancora Gallery, Diane Rosenstein, among others. His practice is held in the permanent collections of The Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), The Crocker Art Museum (Sacramento), and The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Gaitor-Lomack is a recipient of the NXTHVN Studio Fellowship and the Rema Hort Mann Foundation Emerging Artist Grant. His work and performances have been covered in Whitehot Magazine, Artforum, Hyperallergic, Artillery, the Los Angeles Times, Galerie Mag, and Art Industry News.
