Frankie Tobin is a multidisciplinary artist with roots in Oregon and San Francisco. Currently based in Los Angeles, the subject matter she creates is derived both from findings during her travels, as well as her own experience and exploration within the female collective consciousness. Driven by inherent curiosity and a pursuit to investigate the depths of visual communication–Painting is the medium in which she contemplates her experience. In recent years she’s studied under Mario Oliva in Mexico, and pursued multiple independent studies conducted in Dangriga, Belize; Bali, Indonesia and Melbourne, Australia.
